stats for 2025: a post that was drafted and then published three months later

It’s always hard to tell whether a year is busier or not, so here’s the statistical roundup (even though it’s still impossible to know if more or less energy was required):

shows seen: 43

total live performance events: 53

plays read: 32

plays dramaturged: 5.5

shows performed in: 7

  • 2 fully staged productions

  • 2 one-off events

  • 1 understudy contract (with 1 guaranteed show!)

  • 2 readings

cabarets hosted: 1

Now publishing this with a bit more hindsight after 3 months of not being on pace to match any of these numbers, it makes me happy to look at all these numbers and also very grateful to be resting a bit more than I must have at any point in 2025.
